Orange County, NC December 6, 2023 <br />Emergency Radio Respose Converage <br />Statement of Work <br /> <br />Use or disclosure of this proposal is subject to the restrictions on the cover page. <br />Motorola Solutions <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />2.2 Orange County, NC Responsibilities <br />Orange County will assume responsibility for the installation and performance of all other equipment <br />and work necessary for completion of this project that is not provided by Motorola. General <br />responsibilities for Orange County include the following: <br /> Assigning a project manager, as one point of contact, to work with Motorola and has the <br />authority to to make decisions on behalf of Orange County. <br /> Reviewing the preliminary Project Schedule with Motorola’s Project Manager and assisting <br />Motorola Solutions in developing a Project Schedule to define the detailed tasks and timeline <br />for the completion of Motorola Solutions and Orange County responsibilities. <br /> For Public Safety DAS Solutions, Motorola will demarc all alarm outputs within 3 feet of the <br />installed BDA and BBU. If needed, Orange County will need to use their preferred electrical <br />and alarm vendor to connect the alarm to the building fire safety panel. <br /> Orange County is responsible for any costs associated with any required third-party inspection <br />of wall penetrations. <br /> Orange County is responsible for any costs, materials, and labor if roof penetrations and the <br />associated conduit are needed/required to complete the installation. <br /> Ensure communications sites meet space, grounding, power, and connectivity requirements for <br />the installation of all equipment. <br /> Provide floor plans in soft copy (Visio or AutoCAD). <br /> Provide any necessary FCC license modification for the new BDA system.The costs of this is <br />the responsibility of Orange County. <br /> Provide six pairs of conductors brought to into the BBU. Pairs shall be labeled: Alarm 1, Alarm <br />2, Alarm 3, Alarm 4, Alarm 5, Alarm6, etc. <br /> County shall leave (6) resisters with the conductors in order for appropriate alarm system <br />operation. <br /> Approve locations for all equipment in sites. <br /> Approve cable pathways for all DAS cabling. <br /> Provide applicable permits. <br /> Orange County will provide 120 VAC/15A electrical outlet (dedicated breaker recommended) <br />for the proposed equipment installation. <br /> Orange County is providing safe, secure onsite storage for the equipment and materials at <br />each school location. <br /> Coordinate the activities of all Orange County vendors or other contractors. <br /> Orange County shall provide assets tags to MSI at the start of each installation for tagging. <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: BE948547-DFB5-4563-86D7-3BADC4768A61
