Orange County, NC December 6, 2023 <br />Emergency Radio Respose Converage <br />System Description <br /> <br />Use or disclosure of this proposal is subject to the restrictions on the cover page. <br />Motorola Solutions <br /> <br />Page 3 <br />- NFPA compliant dry contact alarms, UL50E Type 4 / NEMA 4 enclosure <br />- UL 2524 Standard Certified – SGS Certificate No.: SGSNA/19/GZ/00173 <br /> <br />Secondary Power <br />The Comba Critical Point Solutions offered by Motorola have a tightly integrated battery backup system <br />that provides a minimum of 24-hour backup performance with automatic transfer and full alarming. <br />The design of the 700/800 MHz ERRC/ ERCES BDA/ DAS Solution consists of the following: <br /> Motorola Solutions will use industry standard design software (iBwave) to engineer a solution <br />compliant with the requirements of North Carolina Fire Code. <br /> Motorola Solutions will provide a pre-submittal package to the Authority Having Jurisdiction <br />(AHJ) to coordinate design approval. <br /> The design assumes -95 dBm RSSI over 95% of the coverage area. <br /> The design assumes -95 dBm RSSI over 99% of critical areas as defined by local NFPA <br />requirements. <br /> The design assumes a grid test consisting of 20 measurements per floor will be acceptable for <br />final inspection results per NFPA requirements. <br /> The design will consist of a serialized BDA and Battery Backup equipment, plenum rated ½” <br />cable and customer provided fiber plant. The DAS will distribute 700/800 MHz Public Safety <br />frequencies throughout the facility via active and passive infrastructure consisting of plenum <br />rated ½” cable and coverage antennas. <br /> Design and Commissioning includes GROL certified Engineers as required by the local <br />jurisdiction. <br /> <br />The chart below includes the schools that are included as part of this proposal.
