Please provide a brief <br />description of your <br />organization’s past <br />achievements in carrying out <br />similar projects and evidence of <br />successful record of meeting <br />proposed budgets and <br />timetables (2-4 sentences): <br />The NC DEQ 319 NPS grant fund supported by the EPA has <br />awarded USS $120,000 to cover the cost of 60% of the <br />installation of Green Infrastructure practices for citizens who <br />reside in the Bolin Creek watershed of Orange County. <br />From regulating auto emissions to banning the use of DDT; from <br />cleaning up toxic waste to protecting the ozone layer; from <br />increasing recycling to revitalizing inner-city brownfields, EPA's <br />achievements have resulted in cleaner air, purer water, and <br />better protected land.
