Each seat remains open due to term expiration or municipal elections. <br /> Thank you and please let us know if we can provide any additional information: <br /> Town of Chapel Hill: Council woman Paris Miller-Foushee has been proposed for consideration by the <br /> Town of Chapel Hill Board. Ms. Miller will replace Karen Stegman. <br /> Town of Carrboro: Council woman Ms. Randee Haven O'Donnel has been proposed for consideration by <br /> Town of Carrboro Board. Ms. Haven O'Donnel will replace Damien Seils. <br /> Hillsborough Commissioner Matt Hughes has been proposed by the Town of Hillsborough <br /> Commissioners. Mr. Hughes will replace Mark Bell. <br /> The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough has nominated Mr. Steve Peck to replace Beverly Scarlett whose <br /> term has expired on that board. Mr. Peck has a long history serving on historic and cultural boards in <br /> Hillsborough. <br /> The Chapel Hill/Carrboro Chamber of Commerce has nominated Donald, D.R. Bryan to replace Manish <br /> Atma who cannot serve a second term due to travel constraints as explained in his resignation letter to <br /> BOCC in December. Mr. Bryan is a developer(Southern Village) and majority owner of Hyatt Place Hotel <br /> Southern Village. <br /> Ms.Jeri Lynn Schulke has been appointed Executive Director of the Downtown Chapel Hill Partnership. <br /> She replaces Rebecca Mormino and, as a result, is recommended to serve on the Visitors Bureau Board. <br /> Finally, Ms. Wendy Smith has been recommended to serve on behalf of the O.C.Arts Commission. Ms. <br /> Smith will replace Jenny Schultz-Thomas who resigned in October 2023. <br /> All nominees will make wonderful contributions to Orange County's tourism goals. <br /> Laurie Paolicelli <br />
