(All other staff members will be identified appropriately below) <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Chair Bedford called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All commissioners were present. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Board Organization <br /> 22 a. Election of Board of Commissioners' Chair and Vice-Chair <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Vote for Chair of the Board of Commissioners: <br /> 25 7 votes cast for Jamezetta Bedford (Commissioner Bedford, Commissioner Fowler, <br /> 26 Commissioner Greene, Commissioner Hamilton, Commissioner McKee, Commissioner Portie- <br /> 27 Ascott, Commissioner Richards) <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Jamezetta Bedford was re-elected Chair of the Board of Commissioners. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Vote for Vice-Chair of the Board of Commissioners: <br /> 32 7 votes cast for Sally Greene (Commissioner Bedford, Commissioner Fowler, <br /> 33 Commissioner Greene, Commissioner Hamilton, Commissioner McKee, Commissioner Portie- <br /> 34 Ascott, Commissioner Richards) <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Sally Greene was elected Vice-Chair of the Board of Commissioners. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 b. Designation of Voting Delegate for all NCACC and NACo Meetings for Calendar Year <br /> 39 December 1, 2023-2024 <br /> 40 Chair Bedford gave a description of NCACC duties for the voting delegate. <br /> 41 Commissioner McKee nominated Commissioner Portie-Ascott to serve as the voting <br /> 42 delegate for NCACC. Commissioner Hamilton seconded the nomination. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 45 Chair Bedford gave a description of NACo duties for the voting delegate. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Vice-Chair Greene nominated Commissioner Richards to serve as the voting delegate for <br /> 48 NACo.
