BACKGROUND: Site Selection Advisom Committee The Board of County Commissioners previously approved a Resolution of Intent to site a satellite campus of the Durham Technical Community College (DTCC) in Orange County. Selecting a site for the facility will be the responsibility of the County Commissioners. The suggested compoaifion of the Site Selection Advisory Committee Is as follows: • Two(2)County Commissioners • Two (2) DTCC Trustees from Orange County • County Manager President of Durham Technical Community College • Two (2) Employer Representatives(Clerk will advertise for applications) • Two (2)Al-large citizen representatives(Clerk will advertise for applications) • Two (2)School System Representatives -one from each of the two districts • Two(2)Chamber of Commerce Representatives-one from each of the two Chambers of Commerce in the County • One (1) representative from the Orange County Planning Board • One (1) representative from the Orange County Economic Development Commission
