Outreach materials will provide the <br /> public with access to information about the project, schedule, public participation opportunities, and comment <br /> opportunities. Outreach materials content will be developed by the Consultant and approved by the Client.The following <br /> methods will be used to increase public awareness of the study and participation opportunities. <br /> Website Content: <br /> The Client will develop a webpage for the project to be hosted on their existing County website.The Consultant will <br /> provide text content to provide details about the study and opportunities for the public to be involved.The Client will <br /> review, approve, and post the content on the webpage.The Consultant will revise materials up to two (2)times. <br /> Social Media: <br /> The Client will use their social media accounts to share project information and promote public participation.The <br /> Consultant will provide two (2) unique graphics to promote the public engagement period, and up to two (2) additional <br /> graphics for use outside of specific engagement phases to provide ongoing communication about the project.These <br /> graphics will be added to a calendar which will provide details on when and what will be posted during each phase of <br /> engagement.The Client will review, approve, and post content on Facebook, Instagram,Twitter, and NextDoor. In sum, <br /> the Consultant will provide content and graphics for four (4) customized social media graphics.The Consultant will revise <br /> materials up to two (2)times. <br /> To increase social media reach,the Consultant will identify related organizations to request their participation in sharing <br /> the social media posts.These organizations may include neighboring municipalities, counties, community groups, and <br /> other local stakeholders.The Consultant will provide the stakeholders with a calendar of social media posts. <br /> E-blasts: <br /> The Consultant will develop content for one (1) a-blast to share study information with the general public.The Consultant <br /> will revise materials up to two (2)times.The Client will distribute the e-blast using a public email list. <br /> Press Releases: <br /> The Consultant will develop one (1) press release to announce study updates and public participation opportunities.The <br /> Consultant will revise the press release up to two (2)times.The Client will be responsible for identifying appropriate <br /> media outlets and distributing the press release.The Client will be responsible for any requested media interviews. <br /> D3 Public Meeting <br /> The Consultant will organize and facilitate two (2) public information meetings.These meetings will present the same set <br /> of materials and will be held in-person at two locations in Orange County. A virtual meeting can be held in place of a <br /> second in-person meeting if desired by the Client and using their subscription to an online meeting platform.The <br /> Consultant will work with the Client to determine the format for the public meetings (open house style or presentation <br /> style) prior to the engagement based on the goals and information available.The Consultant will develop a public meeting <br /> logistics guide, provide materials and facilitation, and coordinate note-taking.The Client will be responsible for scheduling <br /> meeting accommodations. Up to four(4) Consultant staff will attend each meeting.The Consultant will develop one set of <br /> meeting materials for the public meeting including eight (8) display boards with graphics and text, one (1) meeting <br /> presentation, one (1) handout, and one (1) comment card. <br /> The Consultant will print the materials, including up to 250 copies of the handout and comment card.The Consultant will <br /> provide the Client with digital files of public meeting materials.The Consultant will revise materials up to two (2)times. <br /> The Client may also post the materials on a project website to provide a convenient option for stakeholders and the public <br /> to view materials if they cannot attend the meeting. <br /> D4 Survey <br /> The Consultant will develop and implement one (1) survey to collect input from the public.The survey will be conducted <br /> during the public engagement and will focus on reviewing recommendations and collecting community priorities and <br /> goals. Printed copies of the surveys will also be prepared and distributed at public meetings. <br /> 5 <br />
