3 <br /> 2. Two project deliverables are now available on the project website: <br /> a. The Stakeholder Summary Report:summarizes inputs collected from stakeholders interviewed during <br /> Phase 1 of the project. These insights were used in the development of the Community Engagement <br /> Window#1 activities and polling questions. <br /> b. The Community Policy Profile: an existing policy summary document that synthesizes the policy <br /> guidance included in relevant plans. <br /> 3. The Project Team has scheduled two community meetings in January 2024 (dates/times below) and is <br /> coordinating public notification, including a combined notice in English and Spanish,as well as a short handout <br /> to help peak interest in the project and direct the public to the project website to learn more, participate in on- <br /> line engagement,and sign up to receive e-mail updates throughout the planning process. <br /> Scheduled Community Meetings: <br /> a. Friday,January 191h, Cedar Grove Community Center, 2:30-4:00 pm <br /> b. Saturday,January 20th,Southern Human Services Center Homestead Rd, 10:30 am—12 pm <br /> Following the first engagement opportunity in October 2023,these community meetings are part of Community <br /> Engagement Window#1 (CEW#1). In addition, the Project Team will be attending the Agricultural Summit on <br /> February 12th. A full report summarizing the responses from all participants will be shared when the CEW#1 <br /> activities have been completed. <br /> 4. Concurrently with Phase 2 work,the Project team is evaluating the planning influences facing Orange County as <br /> part of Phase 3 work.The final product will be the Fact Book,which will address the full range of planning topics <br /> and can be used throughout the process.The Project Team will be collaborating on the Fact Book with the Staff <br /> Work Group in order to finalize the document and share it with the public. <br /> 5. The Project Team will brief the BOCC on Thursday, February 15th on the outcomes of Community Engagement <br /> Window#1,engagement at the Ag Summit,the New Issues and Opportunities Report,and the technical analyses <br /> provided in the Factbook. <br /> Planning I Zoning&Land Use I Sustainability&Resiliency <br /> Page 2 <br />
