These inspection services will ensure <br />the contractor is resurfacing the Orange Co. Sportsplex parking lot as described per the plans and <br />specification set forth in the contract. The following proposal includes our understanding of the <br />project including scope of work, schedule, and compensation along with authorization instructions. <br />PROJECT INFORMATION <br />The intent of this project is to provide Orange County with contract inspection and contract <br />administration services for the Sportsplex Parking Lot Resurfacing Contract. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task 1 – Contract Inspection <br />Summit will provide an inspector acting on behalf of Orange County to oversee all contractor <br />operations. The inspector will first and foremost ensure safe operating procedures for the contractor <br />and safe ingress and egress for clients of the Sportsplex. The inspector will also ensure that the spring <br />box installation is done following the plans and specifications set forth in the contract. The inspector <br />will provide parking lot paving and striping contract oversight to ensure installed parking lot asphalt, <br />speed tables, and required pavement striping meet the contract requirements. The provided inspector <br />will oversee all milling operations to ensure they’re done per the provided plans. <br />Task 2 – Contract Administration <br />Summit will provide contract administration utilizing a Project Coordinator to ensure all project <br />requirements are being met on time and on budget. The Project Coordinator will track all project <br />related expenses and provide additional contract oversight and interpretation of plans and <br />specifications as needed. The Project Coordinator will be the liaison between the Orange County and <br />Turner Asphalt and will verify all contract quantities, review contractor invoices, and recommend <br />payment to Orange County. <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: A22953C1-3AD9-47D9-98A0-1417E9EAC040
