8/06/2020 <br /> <br />07 13 00 BELOW GRADE WATERPROOFING Page 1 of 6 <br />SECTION 07 13 00 – BELOW GRADE SHEET WATERPROOFING <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br />A. Section Includes: <br />1. Installation of a new sheet waterproofing system and protection materials below-grade at <br />portions of exterior walls of Buildings A and B. Location of waterproofing installations <br />identified on the design drawings. <br />2. Removal of existing remedial waterproofing membrane and protection insulation and <br />preparation of existing exterior wall surfaces to obtain acceptable substrates prior to new <br />waterproofing installations. <br />3. Infill of hole in the interior face of the masonry foundation wall with polymer-modified <br />repair mortar. Infill of isolated voids around other through-wall penetrations. <br />4. Routing of crack in the mortar and brick on the inside face of the foundation wall in <br />preparation for installation of new joint sealant. <br />B. Related Sections: <br />1. Refer to additional specification sections regarding excavation, backfill, and storm water <br />drainage upgrades associated with areas adjacent to exterior walls and installation of new <br />waterproofing system materials. <br />2. Refer to additional specification sections regarding repairs to isolated brick/wall damages <br />and isolated sealant replacement at locations identified in the drawings. <br />1.3 INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit written confirmation of contractor’s approved applicator’s status from the waterproofing <br />system manufacturer. <br />B. Submit a 6" by 6" sample of waterproofing membrane with manufacturer’s identification labels <br />attached. <br />C. Submit product data and SDS for each product listed in this specification section and others <br />accessory products that may be required by the waterproofing membrane manufacturer for a <br />complete installation of the work. <br />D.
