Drainage pipe: 4” slotted or drilled PVC or PE pipe pre-wrapped in a geo-textile fabric capable <br />of filtering clay soil from migrating into the pipe. <br />B. Drainage Gravel: Washed, sound crushed stone or gravel complying with ASTMD448. <br />2.10 STORM WATER MANAGEMNT PLANTING STABILIZATION <br />A. Seed blankets and coverings: <br />1. Products for storm water management areas: Made from biodegradable jute matting, free <br />of plastic or other non-biodegradable materials, seed free. <br />2. Staples – galvanized staples 6” in length. <br />2.11 MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTS <br />A. Planter Filter Fabric: Nonwoven geotextile manufactured for separation applications and made <br />of polypropylene, polyolefin, or polyester fibers or combination of them. <br />2.12 HERBICIDES <br />A. General: Pesticide registered and approved by EPA, acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction, <br />and of type recommended by manufacturer for each specific problem and as required for Project <br />conditions and application. Do not use restricted pesticides unless authorized in writing by <br />authorities having jurisdiction. <br />B. Pre-Emergent Herbicide (Selective and Non-Selective): Effective for controlling the germination <br />or growth of weeds within planted areas at the soil level directly below the mulch layer. <br />C. Post-Emergent Herbicide (Selective and Non-Selective): Effective for controlling weed growth <br />that has already germinated. <br />2.13 PESTICIDES <br />A. General: Pesticide registered and approved by EPA, acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction, <br />and of type recommended by manufacturer for each specific problem and as required for Project <br />conditions and application. Do not use restricted pesticides unless authorized in writing by <br />authorities having jurisdiction. <br />1. Use pesticides on an as-needed basis. <br />2.14 TREE STABILIZATION MATERIALS <br />A.
