Section Includes Concrete Paving Including the Following: <br />1. Driveways. <br />2. Curbs and gutters. <br />3. Walks. <br />4. Dumpster Pad <br />B. Related Requirements: <br />1. Section 03 30 00 "Cast-in-Place Concrete" for general building applications of concrete. <br />2. Section 32 13 73 "Concrete Paving Joint Sealants" for joint sealants in expansion and <br />contraction joints within concrete paving and in joints between concrete paving and asphalt <br />paving or adjacent construction. <br />3. Section 32 17 13 "Parking Bumpers." <br />4. Section 32 17 23 "Pavement Markings." <br />1.3 DEFINITIONS <br />A. Cementitious Materials: Portland cement alone or in combination with one or more of blended <br />hydraulic cement, fly ash, slag cement, and other pozzolans. <br />B. W/C Ratio: The ratio by weight of water to cementitious materials. <br />1.4 PREINSTALLATION MEETINGS <br />A. Preinstallation Conference: Conduct conference at Project site. <br />1. Review methods and procedures related to concrete paving, including but not limited to, <br />the following: <br />a. Concrete mixture design. <br />b. Quality control of concrete materials and concrete paving construction practices. <br />2. Require representatives of each entity directly concerned with concrete paving to attend, <br />including the following: <br />a. Contractor's superintendent. <br />b.
