9/2/2020 <br /> <br /> 011000 - 3 <br />Several storm drainage structures and pipes will be added around the site to improve drainage <br />around the buildings. <br /> <br />Areas adjacent to the buildings will be regraded to slope away from the building walls towards <br />the new storm sewer system. Limestone mulch 3’ wide with steel edging will be added at some <br />building locations to minimize splash at the ground level windows. <br /> <br /> Grassed Swale <br /> <br />A swale will be added to the eastern side of the soccer field to protect the adjacent property <br />from flooding. <br /> <br /> Waterproofing <br /> <br />Waterproofing will be added below ground at areas of the buildings identified on the plans. <br />B. Type of Contract: <br />1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. <br />1.5 WORK UNDER SEPARATE CONTRACTS <br />A. None. <br />1.6 ACCESS TO SITE <br />A. General: Contractor shall have full use of Project site for construction operations during <br />construction period. Contractor's use of Project site is limited only by Owner's right to perform <br />work or to retain other contractors on portions of Project. <br />1.7 WORK RESTRICTIONS <br />A. Work Restrictions, General: Comply with restrictions on construction operations. <br />1. Comply with limitations on use of public streets and with other requirements of authorities <br />having jurisdiction. <br />B. On-Site Work Hours: Limit work in the existing building to normal business working hours of <br />7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless otherwise indicated. <br />1. Weekend Hours: Owner approved hours. <br />C. Nonsmoking Building: Smoking is not permitted within the building or within 25 feet of <br />entrances, operable windows, or outdoor-air intakes. <br />D.
