9/2/2020 <br /> <br /> 011000 - 2 <br />1.4 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: <br />Accessible Ramp and Parking Addition <br />An accessible ramp will be constructed from the gravel parking lot to the second story of the <br />recreation building. Paved ADA parking spaces will also be added to complete the ADA route. <br /> <br /> Recreational building <br /> <br />Repointing / caulking of the brick panel in the front of the building will be performed using <br />similar colors and materials. <br /> <br /> Safety Fencing <br /> <br />Safety fencing will be installed around the handicap ramp, the two bridges at the rear of the rec- <br />reational facility, and portions of the concrete block retaining wall adjacent to the bridges. <br /> <br /> Flume Removal <br /> <br />The flume wrapping around the rear of the recreation building will be removed to provide unob- <br />structed access to the building entrances. To regrade the area to the first floor elevation, a seg- <br />mental block wall 10’ away from the rear wall will be installed. <br /> <br /> Gravel Parking <br /> <br />Approximately four inches of gravel will be added to the existing gravel parking lot. <br /> <br /> Landscaping <br /> <br />Two 24” sycamore trees have grown adjacent to the steps and bridge in the rear of the recrea- <br />tion building. These trees are impacting the integrity of the steps and bridge and need to be re- <br />moved for the future safety of the structures. Eight – 3” caliper trees will be added in the gravel <br />parking lot and rear slope to provide shade to the parked vehicles and breakup the large grass <br />areas in the rear of the complex. <br /> <br /> Repair Stone Stairs <br /> <br />The stone stairs will be repaired with a matching stone in areas where the stairs are cracked. <br />One flight of stairs has the stone parapet being pulled away from the steps and needs to be re- <br />built. At the top of stairs, the two courses of concrete block will be replaced with stone. <br /> <br /> Dumpster <br /> <br />A dumpster corral will be added to the eastern side of the gravel parking lot.
