<br />Charlotte County Florida - Access Control and Lock
<br />Schedule Evaluations
<br />
<br />CTCH conducted Lock Schedule and Access Control
<br />Evaluations on decentralized county Fire Stations, Water
<br />Treatment Plants, Booster Stations, Storage Yards, Lift
<br />Stations, Public Works, Libraries, Courthouses, Public
<br />Annexes and Sheriff Offices that identified CPTED
<br />vulnerabilities. During the evaluations, CTCH evaluated
<br />the existing levels of CPTED control measures in place at
<br />each facility, identified the locking bodies (lock methods)
<br />used to secure all exterior and interior assets, the
<br />electronic access control systems in place and window
<br />security practices. The evaluations enabled CTCH to
<br />identified design flaws associated with electronic strike
<br />locks, electronic maglocks, ciper locks, electronic
<br />requests for exits, intrusion detection systems, key lock
<br />devices, key control, door designs and window designs.
<br />The final deliverable associated with this project was a
<br />Lock Schedule Report that outlined all Door Hardware
<br />associated with each site evaluated, flaws associated with
<br />electronic access control systems, mechanical door/lock
<br />flaws and CPTED vulnerabilities

<br />Offices, Storage Yards, Waste Processing Stations, Sports
<br />Parks, Historical Centers, Civic Centers, Natural Resource
<br />Centers, Beach Complexes, Water Utility Sites and Youth
<br />and Recreation Centers. The Site Surveys enabled CTCH
<br />to create baseline security and CPTED requirements for:
<br />Perimeter Security, Building Boundary Security, Interior
<br />Security, Asset Area Security, and Site Support Security.
