However, there are a <br /> couple of rules and nuances you should consider: <br /> ➢ Unless a group of you are gathering as an HRC subcommittee, there is NO HRC RELATED <br /> DISCUSSIONS . <br /> ➢ If you are planning a social gathering, and it is anticipated that the number attending amounts to <br /> a quorum ( or more ) : <br /> o Inform the staff point person ASAP . <br /> ■ The public has to be informed that a quorum of you will be meeting, but NOT TO <br /> DISCUSS ANY HRC BUSINESS . <br /> Email Dos & Don't' s <br /> ➢ Don ' t attempt to initiate or carry-out any type HRC business via email ( i . e . nominate, vote , make <br /> action ( s )/decisions ) <br /> ➢ Do make suggestions , ideas, make recommendation for meeting talking points via email, <br /> o but don 't engage in discussion of these things via email . <br /> ■ Make a request or suggest to discuss at a monthly meeting <br /> ➢ Do initiate or carry-out any sub-committee business via email <br /> o Inform staff point person of suggestions, ideas , and recommendations regarding their <br /> initiative <br />
