So that you would even know a week in advance that this might need more 777 time . 778 779 Melissa Poole : I would like to recommend that we codify forever in time into the rules and procedures that planning 780 board members would be recognized by the chair for questions or comments . 781 1 just want some formality because oftentimes things get lost with people speaking over one another . 782 783 Discussion ensued about this topic. 784 1 . 30-minute limit on applicant presentations 785 2. Want to codify into the procedures 10 pm stop time. 786 3. Codify ability to add more time to applicant presentations if voted on . 787 4 . Planning board members will not ask questions during applicants 30 minutes. 788 5. 3 minutes per person per agenda item 789 790 Discussion ensued about the question of having a lawyer speak for the public in some instances . 791 792 Lamar Proctor : Several of the neighborhood information meetings I attended this spring were just over an hour in length , 793 is that a function of where they were held ? It seems to me there ought to be some relationship between the presentation 794 here and the length of presentation at those information meetings . They only had an hour because of the library and 795 maybe that' s a guideline that could be passed along to the applicant, you ' ve got 30 minutes to do your presentation then 796 30 minutes for comment . 797 798 Cy Stober: I really appreciate that feedback and I think as we move into the NIMs being hosted by the applicant , that 799 offers a much greater opportunity for that . . . . those meetings are intended to be a deep dive for the community to give 800 feedback and for the applicant to pivot and amend their application accordingly , whether it' s their site plan or adding 801 conditions , commitments , etc . It sounds like there ' s some lack of knowledge about all the efforts we are going to with 802 public engagement so what I would like to recommend is that perhaps later this summer, Ashley come back after we ' ve 803 formalized our newsletter which will come out at the end of June .
