36 <br /> Riza Jenkins continued the presentation. <br /> Slide #25 <br /> Scope of Federal W <br /> Q� <br /> Lk Government <br /> U_ <br /> Exposure Q <br /> Est.t909 <br /> STRATEGIC PLAN <br /> 2022-2027 <br /> Slide #26 <br /> Scope of Federal Funding at CHCCS <br /> The Federal Grant Fund provided$10.6 million and$11.5 million in additional funding to the District in FY 23 and FY <br /> 22 respectively. <br /> The Federal Grant Fund is primarily used to support: <br /> • Title 1 <br /> • Mckinney Vento(unhoused student support) <br /> • Special Education (EC) <br /> • Head Start funding to support Pre K(-$1.5 million annually) <br /> • Career and Technical Education (CTE) <br /> • Ongoing pandemic relief funds to the District(Non-recurring,ending in FY 2024) <br /> • Monetary and commodity assistance with the District's Child Nutrition Cluster(USDA provided--$4.8 million in <br /> FY 2023) <br /> The Federal Fund maintains a total of--54 FTE Annually,with total Federal assistance to the District in FY 22 <br /> amounting to$22.5 million. <br /> While these funds have significantly bolstered our resources,it's important to note that they may be at risk in the <br /> event of a federal shutdown. <br /> Chapel Hill-carrboro city schools i ahaas.org prepared by Business and Financial Services THINK (AN D ACT) <br />
