The Board also discussed and named their strategic <br /> 3 priorities as follows: <br /> 4 <br /> 5 • Housing For All <br /> 6 • Healthy Community <br /> 7 0 Public Education <br /> 8 • Multimodal Transportation <br /> 9 • Environmental Stewardship <br /> 10 • Vibrant Economy <br /> 11 <br /> 12 The Board agreed that quality of government including improving communication and <br /> 13 engagement with residents, transparency, decreasing racial disparities across all outcomes, and <br /> 14 ensuring a diverse workforce in all county departments, is a cross-cutting priority. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Develop Strategic Goals <br /> 18 <br /> 19 The Board discussed what concepts should be included in the strategic goals to make <br /> 20 progress toward each strategic priority they identified. The consulting team will take the Board's <br /> 21 suggestions and draft strategic goals to be presented to department heads at their Strategic <br /> 22 Planning Meeting the following day.
