Approved 10.18.2023
1
2 Beth Bronson: I would say I oppose that motion.
3
4 Leon Meyers: I'm sorry, you voted against the motion?
5
6 Beth Bronson: Correct.
7
8 Leon Meyers: Okay. All right. So, then it is four in favor and one opposed.
9
10 Beth Bronson: Against, yes.
11
12 Leon Meyers: All right. Then next, James, is the specific standards, is that right?
13
14 Beth Bronson: I think I might have jumped ahead of myself as far as if we're just doing the application components.
15
16 Leon Meyers: The motion, as I understand it is that the Board finds in favor of the facts on the first four pages of
17 Attachment 6.
18
19 Beth Bronson: Yeah, as far as the specific standards related to waste disposal safety and vehicle access, I would be
20 opposed, so I guess that it would stand.
21
22 Leon Meyers: So, you voted against that motion. I understand. Okay. And a second motion would cover the specific
23 standards, James? Is that correct?
24
25 James Bryan: You can do that, yep.
26
27 Leon Meyers: Okay. And do I hear a motion that the Board finds that the application in compliance with the facts listed
28 in the specific standards on the final two pages of Attachment 6?
29
30 Nathan Robinson: I make that motion.
31
32 Leon Meyers: And second? Anybody?
33
34 Jeff Scott: I'll second.
35
36 Leon Meyers: All right. Any discussion on the compliance with the specific standards? All in favor, please say aye.
37
38 Board Members: Aye.
39
40 Leon Meyers: Any opposed? Then that motion carries. And then, finally, the motion would be to grant the special use
41 permit—help me here, James—based on the findings of fact in the first two motions. Is that right?
42
43 James Bryan: Based on the findings of facts, the standards being met by those findings of facts and dependent upon
44 the conditions of with E1.
45
46 Nathan Robinson: So, should we make, yeah, so we, yeah, because you said we must make a motion on those
47 conditions as well. And so, you want to nail those together with the determination.
48
49 James Bryan: The motion has to be clear that you're making those four, but you could mash 'em up all you want, or
50 you could separate them out as you want. But at the end of the day, there must be a motion that says those four things.
37
