Are you hiring <br />multicultural artists <br />with the requested <br />funds from this <br />grant? <br />Yes <br />For each multicultural <br />artist you intend to <br />hire, please list their <br />name, race, and how <br />much you plan to pay <br />them. <br />Nearly 100% of our artists will be multi-cultural. W e believe in equity and <br />investing in artists, and pay them their requested fee, which depends upon <br />the artist/group but ranges between $1750 and $2750 for 2 assembly style <br />shows. <br />How will the <br />project/program be <br />publicized and <br />promoted to reach <br />intended <br />participants? <br />SKJAJA enjoys strong relationships with Orange County and CHCCS <br />school districts and schools. W e will begin exploring 2023-24 partners this <br />summer. <br />Our "backpack flyers" program means every child goes home with a flyer <br />about the performance to share with their families. W e elevate all of our <br />program partners on these flyers, and publicize SKJAJA's scholarship <br />program, which provides important enrichment activity resources to <br />children who wish to pursue arts education outside of school (music or art <br />lessons etc). <br />How will you <br />evaluate the success <br />of the program? <br />W e send surveys following each performance to teachers and staff at each <br />school. The response rate is very high. <br />W e will do this again next year, and will also create scaffolded versions for <br />student feedback!
