well-equipped to serve are
seniors and youth. Our membership and audience consist in large part of
individuals aged 55-70+, and
providing cultural enrichment for seniors is an important way that we
provide value to the arts
community. W e also have a rich history of joint concerts with local youth
choirs, allowing us to share
meaningful choral music experiences with young singers in the Triangle.
W e’ve also reached out to local
Chapel Hill-Carrboro high schools to invite students to come participate in
our Summer Voices concert
coming up this July.
VOICES offers a scholarship program for persons of limited means to
become chorus members without
paying dues; approximately one-third of our current members contribute to
our Sponsor-a-Singer fund.
W e also offer reduced dues for all students.
During FY22-23, will
your organization
receive operational
support funding from
the North Carolina
Arts Council or the
North Carolina
Department of
Natural and Cultural
Resources?
Yes
Organization's EIN 581450444.0
Organization
W ebsite
https://www.voiceschapelhill.org
Authorizing Official's
Name
Emily Shuman
Authorizing Official's
Title
President
Authorizing Official's
Phone
7705108500
Authorizing Official's
Email
emily@voiceschapelhill.org
Applicant Race W hite
Financial Overview
FinancialOv erv iew_Submittable.xlsx
Organizational Financial Statements
Income_Statement_21-22.pdf
DocuSign Envelope ID: A1431915-7C4E-420D-8962-502090AC2D53
