For each multicultural <br />artist you intend to <br />hire, please list their <br />name, race, and how <br />much you plan to pay <br />them. <br />Tarish Pipkins (Jeghetto) is Black; we plan to pay him his requested rate of <br />$500 per hour, for 4 hours. <br />Curious Theatre Collective was founded in 2016 by four women; several of <br />the principals listed on their public-facing materials are Black, including <br />Maxine Eloi and Jessica Flemming. W e plan to pay their requested rate of <br />$1,312.50 for two performances. <br />How will the <br />project/program be <br />publicized and <br />promoted to reach <br />intended <br />participants? <br />W e will share the event on all school and PTA calendars and <br />announcements, and send home flyers with students about the programs. <br />Teachers will also create relevant study guides and prep questions leading <br />up performances, as well as appropriate follow up materials to reflect on <br />the performances within their classroom. <br />How will you <br />evaluate the success <br />of the program? <br />This year we conducted a survey with teachers and staff to elicit <br />suggestions on both the types of art and specific artists they’d like us to <br />invite next year. W e intend to continue that kind of engagement throughout <br />the process by circling back after each performance with both a feedback <br />form as well as informal discussions with staff and parents about <br />takeaways from the performances. W e will follow up with another survey <br />next year about these events as well as what they’d like to see in the <br />future. <br />Additionally, we engage directly with the performers on their experience of <br />the event and the reception in our school community.
