The application to
participate in the Handmade Market will open in spring 2024, so exact
vendors are not yet known. Similarly, contracted performing and teaching
artists for the market will be approached after HAC has secured funding for
this fiscal year, so that fair pay may be guaranteed.
HAC will contract teaching artists for various workshops in the lead-up to
the W eekend of Art. HAC
will use this information to hire artists for paid performing opportunities. In
the late spring, community registration for the parade will open and capture
information about anyone participating from the public.
W hile the exact parade performers are not yet confirmed, HAC has
previously worked with and/or would like to explore opportunities for
collaboration in 2024 with the following artists:
-Paperhand Puppet Intervention
-Living Arts Collective
-123 Puppetry
-Batala Durham
-Bulltown Strutters
-StoryUp! / Katie Rebich
-Shalimar Dancer
DocuSign Envelope ID: E9ED2E06-04DF-47DA-BF1A-31359EF7B971
