Orange County Board of Adjustment—Appointment Discussion <br /> 9 The Board considered an appointment to the Orange County Board of Adjustment. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 BACKGROUND: The Board of Adjustment hears, reviews, decides appeals, and reviews any <br /> 12 order requirement, decision, or determination made by the Zoning Officer in the performance of <br /> 13 official duties. It also hears and decides applications for the approval of those Special Uses <br /> 14 requiring Board of Adjustment approval, in accordance with the rules and conditions laid down in <br /> 15 the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), hears and decides appeals for variances from the <br /> 16 dimensional regulations of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), and decides or determines <br /> 17 other matters as may be required by the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) or State law. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 The Board of County Commissioners appoints all seven (7) members.
