What can we do? <br /> - When it comes to our roles, there are real differences in capacity. How can we <br /> acknowledge these differences in staffing and other resources? How to best tackle <br /> these problems? <br /> - It's important for jurisdictional goals to be clear, but the real conversation has to <br /> come around to roles and responsibilities <br /> - Who can do what and how can we support each other? Eg., Perry Place <br /> - What is it the Town can do? What dollars can you get? How can we more clearly <br /> define those roles so that we can best meet the needs of the community? <br /> Overview of jurisdictional staffing and resources <br /> - Carrboro has three positions in the housing office currently, property tax raised 1.5 <br /> cents to support the special revenue funds dedicated to achieving affordable <br /> housing goals and strategies. $380,000 for affordable housing fund; more than a <br /> third of that goes to agreements which support keeping people in their units.
