If the Good <br /> Neighbor Plan changes, would there be more funding? Corey Root added CoC monies aren't <br /> allowed for shelter. Bonnie Hammersley explained that there are so many competing priorities. <br /> Half of the County's budget goes to public schools. Sarah Vinas added that the IFC has said that <br /> even if the Good Neighbor Plan is changed significantly, it would only mean an increase of 17 <br /> beds. Jamezetta Bedford asked if there is a <br /> way to prioritize the most vulnerable—a tiered system that protects the most fragile? <br /> Next Steps <br /> The group agreed to the following next steps: <br /> 1. Review foundational documents' regarding the OCPEHI, including the Governance <br /> Charter and the MOU. <br /> 2. Update the list of cross-jurisdictional MOUs and programs currently being <br /> negotiated to reflect the following: <br /> - SOHRAD shouldn't be singled out, or other similar programs should be listed as well; <br /> - The Orange County Food Council MOU has expired and OCBOCC voted not to <br /> continue. <br /> 3. The MMC group will reconvene after May 2.
