2 <br /> Attachment 1 is a draft updated memorandum of agreement with the Town of Hillsborough <br /> providing for the Town to continue participation in the County's EAP contract. Because of its <br /> size,the Town has not been able to independently identify an PAP provider. The Town <br /> participates as a subgroup on Orange County's EAP contract. Under the agreement, the <br /> County invoices and collects payment from the To" for the annual Town share of Its EAP cost. <br /> The inclusion of the Town has no adverse impact on the County's EAP rate or level of service. <br /> Attachment 2 I the contract with Magellan Behavioral Health for the EAP program renewal for a <br /> Me year period. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The proposed contract renewal is at a slightly reduced rate of$1.54 per <br /> employee per month from the current rate of$1.56 per employee per month. The estimated <br /> annual coat for the EAP for 2002-03 is $12,936. Funds are included in the recommended 2002- <br /> 03 budget. <br /> RECOMMENOATIONf5f: The Manager recommends the Board: <br /> Authorize the Board Chair to sign the contract with Magellan Behavioral Health for the EAP <br /> renewal, subject to contract review and approval by staff and the County Attorney and <br /> contingent on approval of funds for each year of the contract period. <br /> Authorize the Manager to continue the agreement for Town of Hillsborough inclusion in the <br /> County EAP program. <br />
