Please briefly describe the proposed program, including an explanation of how it aligns with the Town of <br />Chapel Hill and Carrboro’s Results Framework, and Orange County BOCC Goals and Priorities, and the target <br />population to benefit from the program. (250 words or less) <br />The Program for Accessible Resources, (PAR) will provide individualized virtual technology training to people <br />with disabilities and improve their livelihoods security and access to digital healthcare, employment and <br />housing services. Usually, 90% of participants are Chapel Hill-Carrboro residents and the remaining are from <br />Orange County. It will address the following needs: <br />• Inadequate Transportation: The ability to provide in-home Technology training with both Zoom and <br />TrainingWare will eliminate the need for transportation services to receive technology training. <br />• Limited Financial Resources: In-home technology training will also eliminate the need for financial <br />resources to travel to meet with an instructor. <br /> <br />11.
