It <br />is our understanding that Orange County, North Carolina is seeking professional engineering guidance to <br />Orange County and multi-disciplined general engineering services, as needed, in support of the existing <br />Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for the Lake Orange Dam. Specifically, Orange County is seeking to retain a <br />qualified consulting firm on an annual contractual basis to serve Orange County in the formal role of <br />“Owner’s Engineer” as defined within the Lake Orange Dam EAP. <br /> <br />An EAP response would only be activated by Orange County in response to an unusual event or an <br />emergency event at the Lake Orange Dam. A&O understands that an annual contract will be placed with <br />Orange County for the above described services (if needed) and would be renewed on an annual basis, <br />subject to A&O’s performance and the County’s available budget. <br /> <br />A&O proposes to provide the annual services on an hourly rate Not-to-exceed $4,500.00 dollars. (Please <br />refer to the attached rate schedule for our hourly rates). <br /> <br />We look forward to continuing serving you on this project.
