Dr. Joanna Jarred, veterinarian and medical director of OCAS presented to the ASAB <br /> her primary role is animal care (medicine, surgery, husbandry, behavior). She enjoys all <br /> aspects of being a shelter veterinarian—caring for animals and helping people in need, <br /> working on operation, management and planning of facility. Now have small TNR <br /> program through OCAS for sterilizing intact cats that are assigned to either an Orange <br /> County resident or business. Discussed potential future chemical, hormonal or gene <br /> editing treatments that may become available to reduce cat overpopulation problem.
