FY 2025 Local Share Certification 919-245-2006 <br /> PURPOSE: To: <br /> 1) Conduct a public hearing on the 5311 Administrative grant application and the Combined <br /> Capital grant application for FY 2025; <br /> 2) Approve the 5311 Administrative grant application; and <br /> 3) Approve the Program Resolution (Attachment 1) and Local Share Certification (Attachment <br /> 2). <br /> BACKGROUND: Each year, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) <br /> Integrated Mobility Division (IMD) accepts requests for capital, operations and administrative <br /> needs for county-operated transit programs. The 5311 <br /> Administrative and Combined Capital grants provide financial support for transit services that <br /> promote economic self-sufficiency to a wide range of residents and locations. The funds <br /> additionally support a system that enhances the access of residents in the non-urbanized areas <br /> to health care, shopping, education, employment, public services, and recreation. <br /> OCTS staff received new information from NCDOT regarding the discretionary allocation and are <br />
