The parcel is located at 2106 Mount Carmel Church Road, <br /> within the Chapel Hill Township of Orange County. <br /> I. Request to Abandon Future Street at Acorn Ridge Trail <br /> The Board adopted a resolution declaring the County's intent to abandon a right-of-way owned <br /> by Orange County named "Future Street" and to authorize the scheduling of a public hearing on <br /> the matter. The right-of-way is located adjacent to Acorn Ridge Trail (SR 1631) which is in the <br /> Grand Oaks Estates subdivision located off St. Mary's Road. <br /> m. Orange County FY 2024 Annual Transit Work Proqram <br /> The Board approved the Fiscal Year 2024 Orange County Annual Work Program as amended. <br /> n. Approval of the Sale of 0.45 Acre Property, PIN #0900832203 <br /> The Board approved the sale of a 0.45 acre County-owned property located in Little River <br /> Township, Orange County. <br /> o. Change in BOCC Meeting Schedule for 2023 <br /> The Board approved a change to the Board of Commissioners' meeting calendar for 2023. <br /> p. Revised Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Orange County Partnership to <br /> End Homelessness (OCPEH) <br /> The Board approved a resolution authorizing the Chair to sign the revised Orange County <br /> Partnership to End Homelessness Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> q. Amendments to the Orange County HOME-ARP Allocation Plan <br /> The Board approved proposed amendments to the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan approved at the <br /> Board's February 7, 2023 meeting to remove a named preference and prioritization method. <br /> r. Hurricane Florence Hazard Mitigation Property Acquisition Authorization <br /> The Board authorized the purchase of a repetitive loss property (503 Brandywine Road) through <br /> the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grants Program. <br /> s. Purchase of modular classrooms for Efland Cheeks Elementary School <br /> The Board approved funding for the long-term Lease of 8 classrooms and 2-bathroom modular <br /> units for Efland Cheeks Elementary School both for overcapacity and need to provide classroom <br /> space for already approved renovations. This item was reconsidered later in the meeting to <br /> amend the Board's action and vote to approve the resolution for item 8-s approving the leases for <br /> mobile classroom units for the 2023-2024 school year and authorize the Chair to sign and fund <br /> the long-term lease of these 10 units from Aries Modular, Inc. at a cost of$851,180. <br /> 9.
