Minutes <br /> The Board approved the draft minutes for the April 11, 2023, April 18, 2023, and April 20, 2023 <br /> BOCC Meeting as submitted by the Clerk to the Board. <br /> b. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board adopted a resolution to release motor vehicle property tax values for three (3) <br /> taxpayers with a total of three (3) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board adopted a resolution to release property tax values for five (5) taxpayers with a total <br /> of eight (8) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> d. Proclamation Recognizing Juneteenth 2023 <br /> The Board approved a proclamation recognizing Juneteenth 2023. <br /> e. Fiscal Year 2022-23 Budget Amendment#10 <br /> The Board approved budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year <br /> 2022-23. <br /> f. Enhanced Voluntary and Voluntary Agricultural District Desiqnation — Multiple Farms <br /> The Board certified five (5) landowners/farms as qualifying farmland within the Eno/Schley, White <br /> Cross, New Hope, and Cedar Grove Agricultural District Regions; and enrolled the lands in the <br /> Orange County Farmland Preservation Program's Enhanced Voluntary Agricultural District or <br /> Voluntary Agricultural District program. <br /> g. Opioid Advisory Committee Settlement Use Recommendation, and Approval of Budget <br /> Amendment#10-B <br /> The Board: <br /> 1) Received a recommendation/request from the Opioid Advisory Committee for use of <br /> Opioid Settlement Funds that supports Option A of the Memorandum of Agreement <br /> (MOA) on the Allocation and Use of Opioid Settlement Funds in North Carolina; <br /> 2) Approved a resolution regarding the expenditure of Opioid Settlement Funds; and <br /> 3) Approved Budget Amendment#10-B. <br /> h. Contract Renewal with Central Square Technologies <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Manager to sign a one year software maintenance and <br /> support contract renewal with Central Square Technologies, LLC. <br /> L Contract Renewal with NWN Corporation for DUO <br /> The Board approved and authorized the Manager to sign a one-year software maintenance and <br /> support contract renewal with NWN Corporation. <br />
