He said that school choice has been associated with increased racial <br /> segregation and inconsistent student outcomes. <br /> Rachel Royce said there has been a lot of discussion of social goods. She said that her <br /> husband is a soccer coach, and they support sports. She said her son graduated from Research <br /> Triangle High School. She said that the Town of Hillsborough considered very carefully whether <br /> this project should go forward, and they voted unanimously no. She said she would be concerned <br /> if the county overrides the concerns of the municipality. She urged the Board to vote no. <br /> Justin Adamson said his son plays tennis at the Orange Tennis Club. He said his other <br /> son plays HYAA and loves it. He said that HYAA has been looking for a solution for 20 years, and <br /> it is time to give them a solution. He said they have been building houses but not schools. He <br /> said that a couple of dollars on a water bill is a small price to pay for more schools. He said they <br /> need more schools, and that the younger generation needs to be supported.
