From 2008 <br /> to 2012, 1 was national marketing manager for the American Association of State Highway and <br /> Transportation Officials, coauthoring several publications to raise awareness for more <br /> transportation funding.) also worked with Congress and the states in implementing the American <br /> Resource and Recovery Act. In the 1980s and 1990s, I was director of public affairs for the <br /> Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, including the Transportation Planning Board, <br /> where I assisted in the development of the TIP, Clean Air plan, and other planning tools. <br /> Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board <br /> I have real world expertise in the area of transportation planning, research, and implementation <br /> that might be helpful as the OUTBoard provides guidance to the Orange County Commissioners. <br /> How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints? <br /> My background in transportation includes bike-ped, planning, local, state, and federal <br /> requirements, and air quality. I am also a resident of Hillsborough. I also familiar with <br /> environmental justice issues.
