8 <br /> Reasons Want to Serve Board #1 <br /> I am deeply committed to ensuring that all members of our community are able to live healthy lives and <br /> seek opportunities to bring my public health training and skills to volunteer roles within the community. I <br /> previously served a partial term on the Board of Health and then fulfilled a term on the Orange County <br /> Unified Transportation Board. My tenure on the OUTBoard provided me with a much broader <br /> understanding of the OC planning department and transportation issues which I would like bring back to <br /> the BOH. Since my term on the BOH, the health department has played a lead role in addressing the <br /> COVID-19 epidemic.
