EA. 2595 <br /> Membership List from all Designated Thomas Temple Planning Dept EA 2579 <br /> Committees as Requested by BOCC TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br /> Hlllsborough 2454138 <br /> Chapel HIII 8684561 <br /> Durham 688-7331 <br /> Mebane 331 14831 <br /> PURPOSE: To make appointments to the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Committee. <br /> BACKGROUND: On ApdIY6,2002, the Boats of County Commissioners approved the <br /> composition of the CPLUC, adding one more Planning Board member and positions for <br /> alternate members from each of the five designated advisory boards. The appointments need to <br /> be made so met the Committee may begin its work. <br /> The composition of the CPLUC will be two members from both me Board of County <br /> Commissioners and the Orange County Planning Board, as well as one member from each <br /> of the following advisory bodies: Economic Development Commission (EDC); Board of <br /> Health (BOH);Agricultural Preservation Board (APB); Commission For the Environment (CFE); <br /> and the Water Resources Committee (WRC); plus alternate members (optional); plus staff. <br /> An interest list of those who have volunteered from the above list of Boards and Commissions is <br /> attached for your consideration of approval.A list of stuff support Is also included.Also, <br /> attached are the names of all of the members of the designated boardshcommissions, as <br /> requested. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider appointing the people listed on the interest list and staff <br /> support and two County Commissioners to the CPLUC <br />
