Year-to - Date Budget <br /> Summary FY 2022 -23 <br /> PURPOSE : To approve budget , grant , and capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year <br /> 2023 - 24 and approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022 -23 Budget . <br /> BACKGROUND : <br /> Note : The term " Deferred Revenues " used in several of the items listed below are also known as c <br /> unearned revenue or prepayments , and refers to revenue received in FY 2022 - 23 in advance of <br /> FY 2023 -24 . Deferred revenue is reserved and accounted for on the County ' s balance sheet as <br /> a liability to avoid expenditure in FY 2022 -23 . At the start of FY 2023 -24 , the deferred revenue is I <br /> then recognized on the income statement as revenue . <br /> t <br /> Department on Aging <br /> 1 . The Department on Aging has the following deferred revenue items : <br /> • Mobility Management Grant -- As of June 30 , 2023 , the Department on Aging has <br /> $ 37 , 304 in deferred revenue , for use in FY 2023 -24 remaining in the General Fund , <br /> related to the Mobility Management Grant . This budget amendment provides for the <br /> receipt of these deferred revenues for use in FY 2023 - 24 . <br /> • Senior Wellness Program — As of June 30 , 2023 , the department has $ 17 , 364 in <br /> deferred revenue , for use in FY 2023 - 24 . This budget amendment defers revenue <br /> from the Senior Wellness Annual Grant Fund and creates the following Department <br /> on Aging Grant Project Ordinance within the Multi -Year Grant Fund . <br />
