APPENDIX C STAKEHOLDER REPORT <br /> • Improvements in Public Transportation: Public transportation in Northern Orange <br /> is limited, and bus routes/schedules don't cater to everyone. Smaller, energy- <br /> efficient buses or vans could be utilized during off-peak hours for a more reliable <br /> and frequent service. <br /> • Expansion of Mobility On-Demand Service:There is a call to expand the mobility on <br /> demand service,which is currently limited in terms of hours and locations it's offered. <br /> • Micro-vehicles over Larger Buses: A suggestion was made to switch from larger <br /> buses to smaller micro-vehicles in some areas. <br /> • Concerns About Aging County Fleet: Concerns were raised about the aging <br /> and non-functional vehicles in the Orange County fleet, with an ongoing effort to <br /> improve the fleet. <br /> Built Environment: <br /> • New Lighting System: A new $46,000 lighting system has been installed to a <br /> County's facility to significantly reduce electricity use.
