She said that the Governor's veto of the bill <br /> 44 banning abortion after 12 weeks was overridden by a vote of the General Assembly that <br /> 45 evening. She said that other municipalities in Orange County also passed similar resolutions. <br /> 46 She said for folks in Raleigh who claim to support life, that it would be nice if they supported the <br /> 47 lives of poor women and poor North Carolinians and to demonstrate that by providing greater <br /> 48 resources. <br /> 49 Chair Bedford thanked Commissioner Greene for bringing the resolution to the Board. <br /> 50 <br /> 51 <br />
