She said the expected revenue from the ABC Board <br /> 18 and Chapel Hill Police Department is not yet approved but would like for the Board to allocate <br /> 19 $90,000 to help with this pilot program. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 A motion was made by Commissioner Richards, seconded by Commissioner Fowler, to <br /> 22 approve budget amendment OPER-004. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Commissioner Hamilton reviewed budget amendment OPER-005, which she sponsored. <br /> 27 She said she is glad the county could cover the needs of the Sportsplex during the pandemic, <br /> 28 but believes it is important for the Sportsplex to pay the money back now that they have <br /> 29 financially recovered. She said every dollar spent means it is not available for other needs, and <br /> 30 believes it is good stewardship to ask the Sportsplex to pay the money back as they are able. <br /> 31 She said the amendment calls for 20% to be paid back next fiscal year, and a plan will be made <br /> 32 for the full amount to be paid back so Sportsplex operations are not interrupted. <br />
