Minutes <br /> 20 The Board approved the draft minutes for the April 11, 2023, April 18, 2023, and April 20, 2023 <br /> 21 BOCC Meeting as submitted by the Clerk to the Board. <br /> 22 b. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 23 The Board adopted a resolution to release motor vehicle property tax values for three (3) <br /> 24 taxpayers with a total of three (3) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 25 c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 26 The Board adopted a resolution to release property tax values for five (5) taxpayers with a total <br /> 27 of eight (8) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 28 d. Proclamation Recognizing Juneteenth 2023 <br /> 29 The Board approved a proclamation recognizing Juneteenth 2023. <br /> 30 e. Fiscal Year 2022-23 Budget Amendment#10 <br /> 31 The Board approved budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year <br /> 32 2022-23. <br /> 33 f. Enhanced Voluntary and Voluntary Agricultural District Designation — Multiple Farms <br /> 34 The Board certified five (5) landowners/farms as qualifying farmland within the Eno/Schley, White <br /> 35 Cross, New Hope, and Cedar Grove Agricultural District Regions; and enrolled the lands in the <br /> 36 Orange County Farmland Preservation Program's Enhanced Voluntary Agricultural District or <br /> 37 Voluntary Agricultural District program. <br /> 38 g. Opioid Advisory Committee Settlement Use Recommendation, and Approval of Budget <br /> 39 Amendment #10-B <br /> 40 The Board: <br /> 41 1) Received a recommendation/request from the Opioid Advisory Committee for use of <br /> 42 Opioid Settlement Funds that supports Option A of the Memorandum of Agreement <br /> 43 (MOA) on the Allocation and Use of Opioid Settlement Funds in North Carolina; <br /> 44 2) Approved a resolution regarding the expenditure of Opioid Settlement Funds; and <br /> 45 3) Approved Budget Amendment#10-B. <br /> 46 h. Contract Renewal with Central Square Technologies <br /> 47 The Board approved and authorized the Manager to sign a one year software maintenance and <br /> 48 support contract renewal with Central Square Technologies, LLC. <br /> 49 L Contract Renewal with NWN Corporation for DUO <br /> 50 The Board approved and authorized the Manager to sign a one-year software maintenance and <br /> 51 support contract renewal with NWN Corporation. <br />
