15 <br /> 1 Cy Stober and Jim Parker said their presentations would last about 15-20 minutes each. <br /> 2 Chair Bedford said if there is a tie vote on the request, the motion would fail. She said <br /> 3 they do not have to have a majority decision. <br /> 4 John Roberts said the Board is allowed to meet with outside groups and individuals ahead <br /> 5 of time in legislative matters. He said he advises the Board to disclose their participation in these <br /> 6 activities, but they are not prohibited. He said noting people by name is not necessary. <br /> 7 Chair Bedford said she met with three people on the matter. <br /> 8 Commissioner Richards said she met with two people, one for and one against. <br /> 9 Commissioner Portie-Ascott said she met with the developer, the president of HYAA, and <br /> 10 other community members who were against the proposal. <br /> 11 Vice-Chair McKee said he met with the developer and HYAA members.
