11
1 Rachel Raper said the absentee ballot is expected to increase due to awareness. She
2 said that the reversal of the ID law will impact the department because the department will have
3 options available to those without an ID on site. She said they will issue free photo IDs through
4 early voting, but they cannot produce IDs after the end of early voting through election day.
5 Commissioner Fowler asked how voting by mail will work.
6 Rachel Raper said there will be an ID requirement when they return the ballot. She said
7 there would also be a place for those that cannot get a photocopy of the ID to attest to that fact
8 and submit the ballot. She said they will work with Community Relations to ensure that's clear.
9
10 Slide #15
General Government
County Attorney — page 104
* Total expenditure budget-$8{)6,995
— lixteeeeoff$2,153GompamdtoBeseBudget
• Recommended Budget Changes
— $2,153 forincreasedhowsfor low student amemsNpprcgramtoinereasednuersityinthe practcaofpublerseaWr
4tw
ORANGE COUNTY
15 WC>RTtI CAROLINA
11
12
13 Slide #16
General Government
• County Attorney — page 104
GOAL:MAINTAIN EFFICIENT LEGAL REVIEW TIMES BY COMPLETING 95%OF All LEGAL REVI EW
WITHIN TEN DAYS PER REVIEW ITEM.
r wcwnr r+ampWed an time targt ———kr4jgcS+ld
C5
r-a
i0m
95% --------
1t5'
v
75%
R 'ice' ORANGE (COUNTY
15 NCIRr1[CAROLINA
14
15 Chair Bedford asked how many interns there are for the summer.
