SUMMARY <br /> EQUITY <br /> The impacts of climate change cannot be separated from the broader social, <br /> economic, and political systems that shape our world. Equity refers to fairness and <br /> justice in the distribution of resources,opportunities,and benefits.Orange County is <br /> committed to integrating an equity lens into all aspects of our climate action efforts, <br /> from decision-making to community engagement to the allocation of resources. <br /> On September 2,2010,the Board of Orange County Commissioners unanimously <br /> adopted the social justice goals outlined in the Orange County Social Justice <br /> Goals resolution.
