Near term, mid-term, and long-term potential climate changes using the NOAA <br /> Climate Explorer Tool will be summarized.The results of the most recent Eno-Haw Regional Hazard <br /> Mitigation Plan's critical facilities and loss estimations will be incorporated into this analysis.This will be <br /> accomplished by pinpointing critical assets in the County and their vulnerabilities to threats from climate <br /> change. It is important to identify indirect impacts as well, such as impacts due to interruption or loss of <br /> services.These causes and indicators will be assessed and documented. <br /> Task 3.1.5:Summarize Transportation Planning,Conditions,and Trends <br /> The Clarion team will prepare a summary of relevant data and information pertaining to the County's <br /> current and future transportation system.This effort will leverage transportation planning of the Triangle <br /> Area Rural Planning Organization (TARPO), Burlington-Graham Metropolitan Planning Organization <br /> (BGMPO), and the Durham-Chapel Hill Metropolitan Planning Organization (DHCH MPO) planning efforts. <br /> The team will review existing plans, policies, and projects related to transportation, including the recently <br /> completed 2022 Orange County Transit Plan. <br /> Task 3.1.6: Evaluate Public Facilities and Services Conditions, and Trends <br /> The Clarion Team will prepare an assessment of existing public facilities and services provided by the <br /> County and partners (Orange County Schools and participating utilities). At a minimum,these services and <br /> facilities will include public utilities, solid waste, public safety(Sheriff, fire, EMS), emergency management, <br /> and libraries.This assessment will document existing facilities and services, capacities, and any plans for <br /> enhancing or increasing levels of service.
