These grant <br /> funds are to be used by the Cambom Branch Library to support the Spanish Language <br /> outreach program as follows: <br /> u Hiring a temporary employee as a liaison tc promote the library and triangle family <br /> programs (5 hourslweek at$12.001hour)for 2 years; <br /> to Purchasing 300 Spanish earlyleasy reader books; <br /> u Programming (special performers, storytellers, advertising, printing) <br /> There Is no County match for the receipt of these funds. (see attachment 2 for Spanish <br /> Language Outreach Grant Project Ordinance). <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included In the background information above. <br /> RECOMMENDATION($): The Manager recommends that the Boats of County Commisslonem <br /> approve the attached grant project ordinance and budget ordinance amendments. <br />
