Senior Associate,2022-Present;Associate,2018-2021 ■ Wake and Durham Bus Plans and Short-Range Transit Plans,GoTriangle(Raleigh/Durham,NC)2021- Ongoing.Yanisa is the deputy project manager for a multi-part effort to update the bus plan for Wake County and create short range transit plans for GoDurham,GoTriangle,GoRaleigh,and GoCary.The team has completed the Wake Bus Plan and is currently working on the GoDurham and GoTriangle Short Range Transit Plans. ■ Major Investment Study and Alternatives Analysis for Bus Rapid Transit Extensions,NC Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization(Raleigh,NC).2021-Ongoing.Yanisa is a part of a team planning extensions to two bus rapid transit corridors in Wake County,NC.The team conducted an existing conditions analysis of the two corridors and created alternative alignments to meet current and future needs in the region,and is now creating the final plan. ■ Wake County Transit Vision Plan Update,NC Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (Raleigh,NC)2019-2021.Yanisa was the deputy project manager for this technical update of the 2016 Wake County Transit Plan,which aims to evaluate the progress of various projects recommended in the original plan.Yanisa analyzed the feasibility of current cost and schedule estimates for four Bus Rapid Transit corridors and a commuter rail route.She also conducted a market assessment to determine how well the planned investments match the geographic demand for transit services. ■ GoDurham Microtransit Planning Study,GoTriangle(Durham,NC)2020.Yanisa worked on a team that planned a microtransit service for areas of Durham,NC with low densities but high transit need. She designed an on-demand transit service that balanced a tight implementation timeline,limited budget,and quality service for the residents of Durham. ■ Accelerating Bus Electrification from Pilot to Scale,New York State Energy Research and Development Authority(New York)2020-2022. Yanisa served as deputy project manager to develop a toolkit and framework to help guide New York State transit agencies on how to plan,pilot and deploy battery electric buses. ■ Oklahoma Public Transit Policy Plan,Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Oklahoma Transit Association,(State of Oklahoma)2019-2020.Yanisa was a task lead for this project to set the foundation for transit investments statewide and provide a vision for transit improvements over a 10- year horizon.She conducted stakeholder interviews,analyzed rural transit market demand,and created a capital cost model for this project.
