Orange County Short Range Transit Plan, RFLOI No 367-005394 I Letter of Interest <br /> Orange County,NC/Orange County Public Transit <br /> Nelson\Nygaard will submit a draft agenda to Orange County staff for review prior to the meeting and prepare a <br /> slide deck for the meeting. <br /> 1.2 Work Plan and Ongoing Project Management <br /> To guide and manage the project,we will develop a draft work plan starting with this scope of work and in <br /> collaboration with Orange County staff. This document will include a plan for accomplishing goals and objectives <br /> and consist of the following elements: <br /> ■ Detailed description of each task and deliverable <br /> • Organization chart with roles/responsibilities and contact information <br /> ■ Project timeline with durations for tasks and dates for meetings and deliverables <br /> • Initial data request list <br /> A draft work plan will be submitted prior to the kickoff meeting. We will discuss the work plan at the kickoff <br /> meeting and submit a final work plan after the kickoff meeting. <br /> For ongoing project management,we will set up virtual check-in meetings between the Nelson\Nygaard and <br /> Orange County project teams every two weeks. While these meetings are intended to be informal check-ins,we <br /> will create an agenda in advance so that our time is focused on project progress, review interim deliverables, and <br /> get feedback from the project team. Additionally,we will submit monthly progress reports with our invoice to <br /> document progress to date and identify any critical issues. <br /> 1.3 Core Technical Team Meetings <br /> Nelson\Nygaard will work with Orange County to form a Core Technical Team(CTT)to help guide the project. The <br /> CTT will include representatives from Orange County, Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro(DCHC)Metropolitan Planning <br /> Organization(MPO), Burlington-Graham MPO(BGMPO), the Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization(TARPO), and <br /> North Carolina Department of Transportation(NCDOT)Division 7. The CTT may also include representatives from <br /> Orange County municipalities, such as Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Carrboro, and Mebane. <br /> CTT meetings will be held monthly and will be virtual or hybrid(in-person and virtual)based on the contents of the <br /> meeting. These meetings will be used to discuss approaches to project tasks, review interim and draft <br /> deliverables, and discuss technical issues as they arise throughout the project.
